New Music? Ariana Grande Teases An Unreleased Song Following The Success Of ‘Thank U, Next’
Another hit? Quite possibly! Despite her crazy year, Ariana Grande does not stop working. The “Successful” singer lives up to her song’s title because she is here to slay!
After gaining her first number one hit with “thank u, next” on the Billboard Hot 100 charts this week, Ariana is already creating her next masterpiece. On Thursday, Nov. 15, the pop star teased some new music on Twitter with a clip of her singing an unreleased song rumored to be titled, “Needy.”
In the video, Ari is seen in a dark room playing a slow rendition of the track on piano. “Needy ass,” she captioned the tweet. The following tweet appeared to be some of the song’s lyrics which read, “good at overthinking w my heart …. how u even think it got this far.”
She also previously tweeted a snippet of the regular version early last month. And just 10 days ago, singer/song-writer Victoria Monet did the same in a video starring Piggy Smallz, Ariana’s pet pig.

Like any great fandom, nothing gets past Arianators. After the official release of her music video for “Breathin,” fans were quick to notice that the singer discreetly incorporated “Needy” on an airport’s departure board on the 1:24 minute mark. The board also teased other possible song titles of what might make Ariana’s forthcoming fifth studio album. “Imagine” and “Remember” were on the list.

Aside from working on new music, the singer also took a dive into the past. Before tweeting herself singing “Needy,” she posted a clip performing “My Everything,” which is also the title of her 2014 album. “I know you’re not far, but I still can’t handle all the distance/ You’re traveling with my heart,” she sang. As of late, Ariana is newly single after calling it quits with comedian Pete Davidson last month. Hmmm, since it’s still recent, could he be behind all this inspiration?
