Singer Ariana Grande has a crazy couple of years, but going into the next one, she wanted to make her wish for her fans known. On Dec. 29, Ari took to her social media channels and sent out a sweet hope for all of her fans and followers going into 2019.

“I hope next year is beautiful for [you],” the singer posted to her Instagram and her Twitter. The 26-year-old always has such sweet interactions with her fans so we love seeing her reaching out to her followers as the year closes out.

Ari’s sweet message comes just two days after she had to cancel her New Year’s Eve weekend performance at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas due to an illness.

“Vegas,” she addressed her fans and followers from the southwest state on her apology on her Instagram Stories on Dec. 28. “I’m currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry I won’t be able to see [you] this weekend. I love [you] and so look forward to seeing [you] and making it up to [you] next year.”

She also sent her appreciation to the fans and made a special promise. “Thank you for your patience… I will make it worth the wait,” she wrote. Ari has always been so good to the fans, so we’re not surprised to see her making promises to her Vegas fans for something big in the future.

Ari has dealt with so many tumultuous situations recently, it’s not surprising that she wants to take some time for herself. Between the Manchester bombing at her concert in 2017, her ex Mac Miller’s passing, and her whirlwind engagement and breakup with SNL star Pete Davidson, the girl definitely needs a little bit of a breather.

Let’s hope Ariana has a well deserved NYE break and also has the same beautiful 2019 she wished for all of us.
