Singer Ariana Grande has been through so much in the last two years, it’s not surprising that she wants to take some time for herself. Between the Manchester bombing at her concert in 2017 and her whirlwind engagement and breakup with SNL star Pete Davidson, the girl definitely needs a little bit of a breather. So when Ariana took to social media on Dec. 28 to announce she would not be performing at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas over the New Year’s weekend, we were glad to see her doing what’s right for her health.

“Vegas,” she addressed her fans and followers from the southwest state on her Instagram Stories. “I’m currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry I won’t be able to see [you] this weekend. I love [you] and so look forward to seeing [you] and making it up to [you] next year.” Ari has always been so good to the fans, so we’re not surprised to see her making promises to her Vegas fans.

After a fan trolled her with their own Instagram Story being a bit unhappy about the announcement, Ari screengrabbed the post and reposted to her own. “Never,” she wrote about the fan’s joking accusation that she was being “fake.”

“Oh, y’all BORED bored,” she continued on the Story, before responding to the fan’s trolling. “Love [you] the most,” she wrote. “You’re so funny sometimes, man. Thank you for your patience.” We stan a good sense of humor!

Ari made a strong vow as she closed out her stories: “I will make it worth the wait.” Can we just say we have chills or…? Because we do.

We’re so glad Ariana is taking the time she needs for herself, but that doesn’t mean we’re not already super pumped for whatever she has planned for Vegas. We’re down to fly out, Ari, just let us know.
