What better time to get a little wet and wild than on your birthday?! Britney Spears and her hunky boyfriend Sam Asghari jetted off to Miami to celebrate her 38th trip around the sun, and on December 1 they were spotted enjoying a splash in the hotel pool. Her back and booty also look extra-toned, and it’s really no surprise considering the fact that she’s dating a 25-year-old trainer and she posts her grueling workouts on Instagram all the time. For his part, Sam rocked a pair of black swim trunks and a black polo that really highlighted his impressive biceps. we see you, bro!

The couple looks completely enamored on their romantic getaway, and if their head over heels body language wasn’t enough to show exactly how they feel about each other, Sam made sure to make it super clear in his touching birthday message for Britney on Instagram.

He takes quite a tumble in the clip, but his caption proves his ego wasn’t too bruised. “There’s a reason why the world fell in love with you! Later that same day, Sam posted a photo of the magnificent pink cake he got his lady, which featured photos of the pop star through the years. Who doesn’t love a thoughtful guy? But the festivities didn’t stop with swimming, cake, and ice skating.
