AwwCardi B Posts Adorable Throwback Photo With Baby Kulture and Husband Offset
Months before Cardi B and Offset split up and got back together, they vacationed with their daughter, Kulture Cephus, in the Dominican Republic. Now, the “I Like It” singer, 26, decided to share a rare family photo from that vacay and it is too cute!
On Sunday, February 24, the Bronx native took to Instagram to post the sweet snap. “PUNTA CANA ❤️ @offsetyrn KK 3 month old,” she captioned the pic of herself in a bikini as her baby girl, 7 months, lay on the couch with her dad. While it’s surprising for Cardi to show off her daughter on social media, it makes sense considering as of late Kulture’s been seen more than ever. This past Friday, the Migos rapper, 27, released his debut solo album, Father of 4, and the cover art features their daughter and his three other kids.
Last week, Cardi shared a rare video of her little one laughing. By the looks of it, fans might be seeing more of Kulture. However, that wasn’t always the case. Since giving birth in July, the hip-hop star has been very keen on protecting Kulture from trolls, therefore, keeping her daughter’s face a mystery. In a recent interview, Cardi explained her exact reasoning for doing so.
“As soon as she was born, one month in [Offset] was like, ‘She’s so beautiful. Watch how people gonna go crazy,'” she explained to Harper’s Bazaar. “‘Cause a lot of people were saying mean stuff, like that we don’t post her because she’s ugly. He was like, ‘I’m about to post my baby right now.’ But then we were very concerned because we were getting a lot of threats, so he said, ‘The world don’t even deserve to see her.'”
Luckily, they changed their mind! Hopefully the haters keep to themselves because Kulture is too precious and deserves to be shown off.
