January 2017: The First Collab.

Offset collaborated with Cardi on her album Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 2. She teased the “Lick” collaboration a month prior to the album’s release which instantly sparked romance rumors. Offset also appeared in the music video.

February 5, 2017: “Super” Football Date.

Relationship rumors seriously picked up steam when Cardi and Offset were holding hands at the Super Bowl. Although the “Bad and Boujee” rapper streamed a live video of the two, they still didn’t officially confirm anything.

February 14, 2017: Officially Instagram Official.

Cardi B confirmed what everyone basically already knew in a now-deleted Instagram video. She posted a video of the two at their very public Super Bowl date and reportedly called Offset “babe” in the caption.

March 17, 2017: Oh Wait, Never Mind.

“I’m not saying I’m dating an Atlanta guy,” Cardi said during an interview with Fader. Although it seemed like the two already confirmed their relationship, Cardi pumped the brakes.

August 2017: Engagement Rumors Are Swirling.

After being seen shopping around a jewelry store in Atlanta called Icebox, fans speculated these two were engagement ring shopping. Offset even posted a now-deleted icy Instagram picture of a massive ring on his pinky finger. Cardi also said, “It’s never too early to get married now. You know, if you want to propose to me, you can,” during an interview before the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.

September 20, 2017: A Secret Marriage.

Although fans wouldn’t know for almost an entire year, Cardi and Offset secretly tied the knot in September of 2017. The super private ceremony only had an officiant and Cardi’s cousin in attendance.

October 21, 2017: Over Before They Started?

People were confused when Cardi posted a picture of herself with the caption “Single” followed by another photo captioned “Peace nikka” that seemed to be directed at Offset. Cardi cleared up the confusion with a series of tweets explaining that she thought Offset took her blanket (apparently he didn’t) and called her beau (actually her hubby) a “gift from Jesus.” Hmmm…

October 29, 2017: They’re Engaged! But, Remember, They’re Actually Already Married.

Offset proposed to Cardi in front of 20,000 fans in Philadelphia during the Power 99 Powerhouse concert. Although the two would’ve already been married at this point, it didn’t stop Cardi from acting super excited.

Cardi gifted the rapper a Rolls Royce Wraith for his 26th birthday. The two were all loved up at the Met Gala themed party (aka The Set Gala). Do you think the lavish car counted as his birthday and Christmas gift? Maybe not.

February 2018: Cardi Opens Up About Cheating Rumors.

Cardi dished on the cheating accusations surrounding Offset during her cover interview with Cosmopolitan. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper said, “I know I could get any man I want — any basketball player, football player. But I want to work out my s**t with my man and I don’t got to explain why.”

After a ton of speculation, Cardi revealed that she was, in fact, pregnant during an appearance on Saturday Night Live.

Although Offset and Cardi were both guests at the 2018 Met Gala, they did not go to the prestigious event together. Cardi went with designer Jeremy Scott while Offset attended with the rest of Migos. She later told the New York Times that she was “upset” the two weren’t able to walk the carpet together.

July 2018: Cardi And Offset (And Kulture) Are On The Cover Of ‘Rolling Stone.’

The couple looked picture-perfect on the cover of Rolling Stone. The couple shared their “hip-hop love story” during the exclusive interview. “We really love each other. She’s real. I wanted real. I also wanted successful,” Offset said about his relationship with Cardi.

June 24, 2018: Did He Just Say Wife?

Offset called Cardi his “wife” while Migos was accepting their award for best group at the BET Awards. After that, Cardi confirmed on Twitter that the two tied the knot in September of 2017. “Our relationship was so new, breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other, was one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married,” she said in the tweet.
