Bringing the heat! Demi Lovato teased her look for her upcoming performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” during Super Bowl LIV on February 2. The singer will be taking the stage in front of millions of fans to sing the national anthem and she plans on wearing an unforgettable outfit.

“So, my look, I wanted it to be sophisticated but also chic,” the 27-year-old explained during an interview with Andy Cohen on Sirius XM on January 30. “And, I also really wanted it to be respectable and classy. Yeah, you gotta know your audience.” The “Heart Attack” songstress is feeling all the emotions ahead of her much-anticipated performance. “I feel very excited, nervous but also very grateful. It’s going to be so surreal, I can’t wait,” she gushed.

The “Confident” artist just blew fans away with the performance of her new song, “Anyone” at the 2020 Grammys. It was the first time she took the stage since her near-fatal overdose in 2018, and she looked stronger and healthier than ever. She rocked an impressive white ball gown that helped her glow in the spotlight, and it sounds like her Super Bowl outfit will follow suit.

Surprisingly, she’s “most nervous” about singing at the big game versus the glitzy awards show. “I’ve spent more time with that song, “Anyone.” I’ve spent more time listening to it. I crafted it … So, when you put your heart and soul into something, it takes on a life of its own,” Demi explained. “Whereas the national anthem, if I mess up … like, everyone goes after you if you do.”

The artist noted that she is “not going to read the comments so it won’t matter,” but acknowledged that such an iconic song comes with a lot of “pressure.” “When it’s my song, if I mess up a lyric, nobody would’ve known because it wasn’t out yet,” she added about her Grammys performance.

After her big moment at the Super Bowl, Demi plans to head back to Los Angeles to see her dogs and hang out with her closest pals. “I like to maintain the high of performing on such a big stage by spending time with my friends and family,” she said. “You know, that’s why I have my friends over at my apartment as soon as the Grammys were done … I wasn’t going home to an empty apartment and feeling lonely, or like, all this adrenaline and then you crash. I wanted to maintain that good feeling so I had my friends over and that’s probably what I’ll do Monday, too.”

We seriously can’t wait!
