The first ~pupmas~ is always the best! Model Emily Ratajkowski and her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, happily showed off their sweet Christmas tree on Instagram on December 18 — and needless to say, their dog, Colombo, was the star of the evening. The dog will be celebrating his first Christmas with mom and dad this year and it’s clear everyone is excited.

In the first snap shared by the 28-year-old, her 32-year-old husband can be seen holding the puppy as he sat in front of their lit up Christmas tree. The proud fur mama even added a cute string of Christmas lights (in .gif form, of course) along the top of the image. For the second pic, Colombo stood alone in a sweet set of reindeer ears. “Colombo’s first xmas,” Emily wrote on the photo.

In a photo posted to her feed, she showed off her pup in a cute winter hat as she decorated the tree. “On a scale of 1-10 how much does Colombo hate his hat?” she hilariously questioned in the caption.

It’s really sweet to see this happy couple reveling in this milestone with their baby boy. Em and Sebo welcomed the dog into their family back in May and he has since been a fixture in their digital and physical lives. He’s constantly featured on the actress’ Instagram page and was even a VIP guest at her 28th birthday bash at Short Stories in NYC back in June.

The pup has also been spotted on many paparazzi-shot walks since his arrival into the fam. Plus, the proud parent loves to share growth updates and throwback pics from puppyhood. All in all, he’s the sweetest accessory there is — and we’re pretty sure Em knows it.

It’s no surprise the happily married couple would take the puppy plunge considering they’re head-over-heels for one another. Recently, Emily revealed to friend and fellow model Ashley Graham how she knew her husband was ~The One~.

“Because I love him so much and he scares me a lot, which I think is also a way that you know,” she explained on the November 19 episode of Ash’s podcast, Pretty Big Deal. “Because if you’re scared of someone and also love them, that means the love is real big because you’re putting away your own fears to be with someone. And we just knew. There was sort of a moment of, ‘We’re gonna make a family,’ just us two, I’m not talking about kids. A partnership.”
