TMZ's reporting that sweetheart Emma Roberts was arrested for domestic violence on July 7 in Montreal. The actress, 22, got into a physical altercation with her boyfriend, American Horror Story star Evan Peters.

According to the report, a third party overheard the pair fighting in their hotel room and called police. When the authorities arrived, they found Evan, 26, with a bloody nose and a bite mark. But sources close to Evan say Emma did not bite him.

The actress, who is the daughter of Eric Roberts and niece of Julia Roberts, was booked into a Montreal jail and released the next day when Evan refused to press charges.

Photos of a bruised and scratched-up Emma surfaced about a week later. Many people are speculating that the injuries stem from that evening, but that has yet to be confirmed.

The pair, who began dating in 2012, were last seen together at The Lone Ranger premiere in LA on June 22. TMZ reports that the couple are in fact back together and working on the upcoming season of American Horror Story.
