Hannah Brown Jokes That She ‘Eats Too Much Candy’ to Lose Weight During ‘DWTS’ Training

She has a sweet tooth! Former Bachelorette star Hannah Brown dished that candy is to blame for not shedding any pounds while training for Dancing With the Stars. First of all, the reality babe is healthy, in great shape and doesn’t need to lose any weight — but we love her relatable junk food habit.

After being asked during a group interview for DWTS if the intense training schedule has affected the number on the scale, the 25-year-old admitted, “No, because I eat too much candy.” The former leading lady added, “My body really does, like, just will change each week depending on what type of dance.”

Particularly, her and Alan Bersten‘s fierce Paso Doble to Icona Pop’s “I Love It” during week 4 had her double-taking in the mirror. “I noticed like in the Paso, my abs came out and my arms did. But then, like with this dance, I just ate a lot,” she said while dishing about preparing for their Aladdin-themed foxtrot to “A Whole New World” by Zayn and Zhavia Ward during Disney night.

“Like, the Paso took everything out of me. So I mean, I was like, ‘OK, hey, what’s up abs?” the Alabama beauty explained. “And then, you know, Disney really took everything out of me because I just had to really just immerse myself into the environment with the corn dogs and the churros and the sugar and cotton candy.”

All in all, Hannah isn’t sweating over the scale. “So, you know, I really get invested in each week … I did what I had to feel Disney. So, if that means a few extra pounds, I’m OK. We’ll work it off next week,” she added. Considering she and the dance pro spend hours in the studio practicing each week, the Bachelor Nation beauty is definitely burning off any extra calories.

It’s great to see that Hannah loves the skin she’s in. Before starting on the dancing competition show, she exclusively dished to Life & Style that her main goal at the moment is to reconnect with herself after splitting from her fiancé, Jed Wyatt. “I’m truly just focused on continuing to love myself and see the places where I still need to work on that — and I think this is the way where I can do that,” she said.

We think Hannah is totally killing it!
