Heather Rae Young Claps Back After Being Accused of ‘Trying to Look Like’ Tarek El Moussa’s Ex
Um, bye! Heather Rae Young clapped back at a troll who asked if she was “trying to look like” Tarek El Moussa‘s ex-wife, Christina Anstead. The Flip or Flop stars filed for divorce in 2017 — it was finalized in January 2018 — and there doesn’t seem to be any saltiness between the two blonde beauties. Heather took it upon herself during an Instagram Q&A on December 4 to officially clear the air.
“Are you trying to look like Christina?” a ~concerned~ follower snidely asked, but Heather, 32, handled the response with a great sense of humor. “How would I be ‘trying to look like someone?’ Last time I checked, I’ve looked like this my whole life,” she snapped back with two laughing emojis.
The Selling Sunset star then poked a little fun at the absurd question. “Yes that’s my ultimate goal [and] I even rushed to a doctor to change my whole appearance!!” she added. “Come [on], guys … let’s stop being ridiculous.”
Just to drive home the point that there is no competition between her and Christina, 36, she confirmed that the two “get along pretty well” in a separate question.
The realtor didn’t only receive negativity about her relationship with Tarek, 38. Heather gushed over a fan who said she was “doing amazing” while dating “a man with children.” Her beau and Christina share two kids — Taylor and Brayden. Now, Christina is remarried to Ant Anstead, and they just welcomed their newborn son, Hudson, in September.
“Now these are the messages I love getting. Thank you,” Heather wrote with a red heart emoji. “It’s been an adjustment but sooo fulfilling.”
Christina walked back down the aisle but would Tarek? The reality stud teased that getting hitched to Heather is certainly a possibility. “We’ve definitely talked about [a proposal], but we’re just kinda rolling with things right now,” he dished to on November 1. “We’re living life and we’re going to Europe together in a few weeks. We’re gonna go to Amsterdam for four days and then Paris for four days.”
Their relationship is filled with adventure, but Heather confessed on a separate Instagram Q&A on September 21 that she “100 [percent]” wants to get married.
