Best gift giver award goes to … Kris Jenner! The momager gave longtime family friend and confidant Scott Disick an “over-the-top” present the same day Life & Style confirmed his split from girlfriend Sofia Richie.

“Thank you so so much @krisjenner,” the Talentless founder, 37, wrote over a photo of a mountain bike on his Instagram Stories on May 27. “For the most over-the-top mountain bike I’ve ever seen!” The Flip It Like Disick star also added the hashtag “#trek,” so it seems like he plans to put the two-wheeler to good use. The lavish gift was most likely in celebration of his birthday on May 26.

Scott and Sofia started dating in September 2017. While they’ve been “on and off” for years, they’re “not getting back together this time,” a source told Life & Style.

That being said, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians regular “truly only wants the best” for his ex-girlfriend following their split, a separate insider said. “They had a good run, but it’s officially over.” Scott “has no hard feelings” regarding the relationship and thinks Sofia is “a great girl” despite the circumstances.

“It was her first real relationship,” the source added. “He honestly never thought it would last as long as it did.”

The split comes on the heels of Scott’s brief stint in a rehabilitation facility for emotional distress. Scott checked into a Colorado center on April 28 to come to terms with the sudden deaths of his parents. Mother Bonnie Disick died in 2013 and father Jeffrey Disick passed away three months later. “The deaths were devastating to him,” an additional source explained, noting he needed “time to process his feelings.”

The reality star left treatment and headed back to Los Angeles merely days after arriving when photos of himself at the center surfaced online.

The former flames had been quarantining together amid the coronavirus pandemic and Scott was in the groove of taking care of himself and staying positive in early March. However, “his demons were getting the better of him and issues he’d brushed under the rug caught up with him during self-isolation,” an additional insider explained. Sofia “tried to be there for Scott and still loves him, but at the end of the day, he can only help himself.”
