Over the course of Scott Disick and Sofia Richie’s nearly three-year relationship, they proved to be a pretty low-key couple before their split in May 2020. Unlike other celebrity lovebirds, you weren’t likely to find photos of Scott and Sofia making out in public. In fact, holding hands and affectionate glances are the full extent of their PDA.

The Flip It Like Disick star and model officially split on May 27, Life & Style confirmed, following Scott’s brief stint in a Colorado rehab facility for emotional issues. Their breakup came a week after they decided to “take some time apart.”

That said, the longtime KUWTK star and up-and-coming actress did enjoy the occasional steamy, flirty or otherwise adorable Instagram exchange prior to their uncoupling. Take Scott’s post on November 25, 2019, for example. It was your standard, run-of-the-mill ad for a clothing company. However, Lord Disick was holding Hershula, Scott and Sofia’s shared dapple Dachshund.

With that, the blonde beauty commented a heart-eyed emoji on her beau’s post. Sure, it wasn’t anything major, but it did offer Scott and Sofia shippers some comfort. After all, without constant social media assurances, it’s easy to fear the worst! Unfortunately, there was a lot happening behind the scenes fans weren’t aware of and they called it quits five months later.

It was Sofia’s “decision” to take a break from their romance, a separate insider dished to Life & Style. “His demons were getting the better of him and issues he’d brushed under the rug caught up with him during self-isolation.”

At the moment, Scott is “leaning” on ex Kourtney Kardashian and is “focusing on himself” and their three kids — Mason, Penelope and Reign. Meanwhile, Sofia “is spending time with friends.”
