New ‘Mama’ Lea Michele Shows Off Precious Necklace in Honor of Her Latest ~Role~
She’s taking on a new ~role~ in life! Glee alum Lea Michele proudly shared her sweet new “mama” necklace in honor of her baby boy, Ever Leo, on Tuesday, September 8.
“Mama,” the 34-year-old captioned a black-and-white image of herself seemingly breastfeeding her newborn, whom she shares with husband Zandy Reich. In the snapshot, her son’s arm can be seen, as well as the blanket covering him. The singer’s “mama” necklace took center stage on her bare chest as she fed her baby.
The Broadway alum has been all about showing little sneak peeks of motherhood lately. On September 5, the first-time parent revealed a bit of the little tyke’s sweet and serene nursery. The baby bedroom included a wooden crib, a lamp and blanket bin, as well as some equestrian artwork hanging over Ever’s bassinet.
Life & Style confirmed the Scream Queens actress welcomed her son to the world on August 20. “Everyone’s happy and healthy, and they’re extremely grateful. He’s been an easy baby so far,” an insider gushed to Us Weekly shortly after the birth.
In the days following his arrival, Lea revealed his name using an adorable pun on Instagram. “ForEver grateful for this true blessing,” she captioned a photo of herself and her husband, 37, holding the tiny tot’s foot on August 26.
On August 29, the New Year’s Eve star shared a second glimpse of Ever while celebrating her milestone 34th birthday — her first as a mama. Lea could be seen holding the precious child as she prepared to blow out her birthday candles in the heartwarming image.
Lea and Zandy started dating in 2017 after meeting and fostering a connection at a mutual friend’s wedding. One of the things that drew her to the businessman was that he wasn’t part of the Hollywood scene.
“She loves that he’s not an actor and has no desire to be in the spotlight,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style of the actress, who previously dated her late Glee costar Cory Monteith and other actors. “She appreciates how kind Zandy is, and she loves that he knows fashion.”
The happy couple tied the knot during an intimate ceremony with family and friends — including the likes of Ryan Murphy, Emma Roberts and Darren Criss — in Northern California in March 2019. Just over a year later, Lea revealed her pregnancy by cradling her baby bump in a gorgeous announcement photo in April.
Clearly, the actress is loving mom life.
