Talk about a dreamy getaway with bae! Hilary Duff and her new husband, Matthew Koma, are honeymooning in South Africa after their surprise wedding in December — and the songwriter had no problem leaving a flirty comment on his new wife’s post about their trip.

“Honeymooning with my honey,” Hilary, 32, captioned a photo of herself and her hubby, 35, enjoying coffee while looking out a window into the safari. “Already seen the big [five] and had so many naps. Doesn’t get better than this …”

The proud dad took it upon himself to add a little sauciness to the comments section of the post. “I love when you talk about my big [five],” Matthew replied, adding a red heart emoji to hammer home his point. Needless to say, several fans and followers replied to his comment in complete hysterics.

Hilary and Matthew tied the knot in a surprise backyard ceremony at their Los Angeles home on December 21, with their closest friends and family in attendance. Hilary’s Younger costar Molly Bernard and Superbad breakout Chris Mintz-Plasse officiated the ceremony. Naturally, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

The happy couple got engaged in May 2019, less than a year after the dynamic duo announced their pregnancy with daughter Banks back in June 2018. “Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!” Hilary captioned a photo of her soon-to-be hubby kissing her cheek as she showed off her baby bump on Instagram.

The couple welcomed their baby girl in October 2018. The Lizzie McGuire alum is also mom to 7-year-old son Luca, whom she shares with her ex-husband, hockey player Mike Comrie.

It’s clear the couple has been deeply in love for a long time. For example, take this sweet birthday post Hil made for Matt’s birthday in June. “Babe, remember when we had a baby and didn’t sleep for 3 1/2 months. I could only survive that with you! You make [every day] the funniest, comfiest adventure!” she captioned the celebratory post. “My best friend … I love you beyond. Happy birthday! 35! Feel alive,” she concluded, even adding a kissy face emoji.

Seems like these two will be in the ~honeymoon phase~ for a while!
