Hold Up! Meghan Markle Dropped A Major Pregnancy Hint 3 Weeks Ago And Literally No One Noticed
Duchess of Sussex? More like Duchess of Sneaky! On Oct. 15, news broke that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child in spring 2019. While the announcement certainly came as a surprise to some people, others have suggested that the former Suits actress has been hinting at a baby… for weeks!
On Sept. 24, Meghan and her hubby attended the Coach Core Awards at Loughborough University. No big deal, right? Well, instead of rocking her typical curly hair, the 37-year-old opted for a sleek straight ‘do. Naturally, the press went wild! After all, it’s not every day that a royal decides to switch up her signature hairstyle.
As it turns out, however, Meghan was seemingly taking a page right out of the Kate Middleton pregnancy playbook. Let’s break it down, shall we? Back in September 2017, a Twitter user theorized that Kate uses her hair to distract the media from her growing belly.
“Pattern is Duchess of Cambridge changes her hairstyle, people concentrate on her head, [and] then [she] announces [the] pregnancy,” they wrote. It may seem like a ~royal~ stretch, but the proof is in the pudding, y’all!

The most prominent example, according to Cosmopolitan, took place just one month prior to Kate Middleton’s very first pregnancy announcement. At the time, she was wearing her hair as the world had always seen it — long, brown, and curly! Fast forward to just a week or two before the announcement that Prince George was on his way…. and boom! She debuted her bangs.
TBH, we all know that bangs are just about the boldest hair move a woman can make — Kate was clearly trying to distract people! The theory is legit, ladies and gentleman.
With that, we hardly think Meghan’s straight hair was a coincidence! In fact, now that we know this little royal secret, we can’t wait to test it out again when Meghan is ready for baby No. 2. Oh, wait, we also have Princess Eugenie to look out for. Let the royal baby watch continue!
