Making up for lost time! Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino got very flirty with his wife, Lauren Sorrentino (formerly Pesce), on Instagram by gushing over how smoking hot she is. The MTV star was released from prison on September 12, and seems stoked to be getting back to his normal routine — which includes flaunting his happy marriage.

“Fuego Mrs. Situation,” the 37-year-old reality stud commented on the blonde beauty’s latest Instagram photo on September 16. “Fuego” is Spanish for fire, and Mike’s gorgeous spouse definitely brought the heat. The post featured a smoldering picture of Lauren, 34, showing off her new blonde balayage highlights “for fall.”

Mike is enjoying his time back home after spending eight months at Otisville Correctional Institution in New York for tax evasion. “Living my best life with my beautiful wife @lauren_sorrentino,” he gushed in his first Instagram post, which he shared just hours after leaving the prison facility, that showed himself cuddling Lauren and their sweet pup.

Fans were equally excited for the reality star’s return. “Can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for you guys,” one person wrote. “I’m going to tell you something, you have turned into one hell of a man @mikethesituation and an honorable one at that,” another user applauded. “This made me cry happy tears!!! Big Daddy Sitch is home!!! I just love their love,” a separate follower added.

He and Lauren tied the knot in November 2018, just two months before he began serving his prison sentence. Of course, she’s happy to have him home and is ready for their life as husband and wife to begin. “We are elated to finally close this chapter of our life. Thank you to our family, friends and fans for the continuous love and support during this time,” a rep for Lauren told In Touch at the time of his release. “It brought us so much peace and comfort. We look forward to continuing our life as husband and wife and working on baby situations! We truly believe that the comeback is ALWAYS greater than the setback, and we can’t wait to show the world ours.”
