OMGMiley Cyrus Got a New Tattoo With Boyfriend Cody Simpson and It’s Perfect for Her
Don’t blink — Miley Cyrus got new ink! The pop star took to her Instagram Stories to show off a brand new arm tattoo on October 15, and it’s no surprise that the new piece of art is totally perfect for her. Plus, her new boyfriend, Cody Simpson, even went and got inked with her. Talk about a budding romance, y’all.
“Rock ‘N Roll Heart Forever,” the 26-year-old captioned a selfie photo of the heart-shaped tattoo with the phrase on a banner, tagging the artist Nico Bassill in the snap. The tattooer has a pretty solid following, boasting a 25k follower count and some seriously enviable work in his portfolio. He tends to favor black and grey style work and definitely utilized those skills in Miley’s tat.
The brunette beauty’s new man, 22, also came through to get a little work done — but his choice of imagery was a little different than his GF’s. “Finally!!!” the artist captioned a quick video clip of Cody’s skull and crossbones chest tat in the middle stages of being completed. He, of course, took a second shot after the Australian hunk’s art was fully finished.
Though getting tattoos together seems like a big step in the relationship game, it doesn’t exactly surprise us, knowing how our girl Miley operates. It was only a few months back that she was still married to estranged ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, so we know she moves fast.
After her marriage to the 29-year-old dissolved into divorce territory in August, she embarked on a two month fling with The Hills: New Beginnings star Kaitlynn Carter. It seemed pretty hot and heavy at first (can you say, ~girls’ trip~ to Italy?), but fizzled out pretty quickly. Everyone thought Miley was going to take a step back from relationship land for a hot minute … but then came Cody.
The Bangerz babe and the singer/songwriter were spotted locking lips over morning acai bowls on October 4, and have honestly been inseparable since. The duo is constantly being featured on each other’s social media and even Cody’s mama, Angie Simpson, is into the pairing! “Puts a smile on my dial to see you both so blissfully happy,” she captioned a black and white selfie of the couple on her IG on October 13. “Hearing your laughs and seeing the smiles on your faces lights up my heart #happyforyouguys #beautifullsouls”
Plus, an insider told In Touch that Cody and Miley are basically a match made in Heaven at this point. “Right now she needs someone she can trust and rely on and Cody is that guy, he gets her,” the source dished. “He’s super sweet, tall and Australian — just like her ex Liam. So there’s that!”
