Cody Simpson Serenading Miley Cyrus in the Hospital Will Make You Bawl Your Eyeballs Out, Trust Us
These two seem to be in that love love, y’all — the type only music can create. Miley Cyrus and her new boyfriend, Cody Simpson, had the sweetest little jam session while the pop star was resting up in the hospital on October 8. Needless to say, the Australian singer was every bit the doting partner as he serenaded the 26-year-old with a new song he wrote for her.
“This sweeeeeet guy came to visit at the hospital and sang the sweeeeeetest song he just wrote for me,” Miley captioned one of a series of several videos on her Instagram Stories of the 22-year-old hunk and his incredible bedside manner. Get you a mans who is going to sing for you when you’re sick!
Luckily for us, though, it seems like we’ll be able to hear this particular “get well soon” track in the near future. “It’s too special to only be heard in full by my ears so I am currently pressuring him to DROP IT next week … [and] it’s working,” she revealed in another clip, adding the hashtag “#goldenthing” with both the princess and sparkle emojis.
In a third clip, she also wrote, “Suddenly I am feeling much better,” which, TBH, we totally understand. We’d probably feel the same if we had such a gorgeous boy singing a song he wrote for us. Said gorgeous boy also posted a little clip of the hospital hang with his new lady on his own Instagram Stories — and if you thought Miley’s posts were mushy, brace yourselves.
“Singing something I wrote for my golden thing while she’s in the hospital,” Cody captioned a video Miley took of him singing to her and sitting in her bed, also adding the hashtag “#goldenthing.” Clearly, something musical and romantic is brewing between these two.
Miley came clean about her rumored romance with Cody after the new couple was spotted locking lips by an eyewitness while on a breakfast run on October 4. “Can a girl not get a f–king açaí bowl and a morning makeout session in peace?!?!” the Hannah Montana alum wrote over the observer’s video on her own IG Story. “LOL, sneaky ass.” They haven’t been shy about their interest in each other since.
Considering the brunette beauty has been through two big breakups in the last few months — with husband Liam Hemsworth and subsequent fling Kaitlynn Carter — it seems like Miley might have found a new bit of happiness.
