Is Nikki Bella ready to take things to the next level with boyfriend Artem Chigvintsev? It seems like it! The 35-year-old former wrestler is very much in love with her beau, and it wouldn’t come as a surprise if he decides to pop the question — when and if the time is right, that is.
“Nikki would love to be engaged. Of course Artem knows this, and he loves her, so I think it’s only a matter of time,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “They’re taking steps. Nikki jokes that they’re little baby steps towards a future together. If Artem proposes, she’s saying definitely saying yes.”
This isn’t the first time there has been talk about Nikki potentially marrying the Russian native. The Total Bellas star admitted that the idea of getting married is “scary.” But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t see it happening! However, for now, the couple is just focusing on the months ahead. “They’re excited about the holidays,” the insider revealed.
What do the lovely pair plan to do? It’s possible they might hang with Nikki’s twin, Brie Bella, and her family. “Early conversations were about going to Phoenix to spend time with her sister, Brie, her husband Daniel and Nikki’s adorable niece Birdie Joe,” the source added. “That’s what she wants to do.”
Nikki wouldn’t mind having a similar lifestyle to her sister. “Nikki wants what her twin sister has — a loving husband and a baby. She’s on her way, hopefully 2020 is the year to get that dream rolling along, the source divulged.” Hopefully! After all, Artem seems like he would make a devoted father and husband. He even has his eyes set on two kids.
“You know what? I’ve never thought about the exact number, but the only thing I can compare it to is obviously my parents and what they have,” the former Dancing With the Stars pro admitted on “The Bellas Podcast” in September. “They have two of us. It’s me and my brother. If I have to throw a number, I would probably say two because that’s how I grew up and I had a good relationship with my brother.” How sweet!
