Peter Weber Defends ‘Bachelor’ Contestant Hannah Ann After She’s Compared to Luke Parker: ‘We Clicked’
Shut down! Peter Weber defended Bachelor contestant Hannah Ann Sluss after Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin compared her to Bachelorette star Hannah Brown‘s problematic contestant Luke Parker on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast. The season 24 leading man slammed any similarities the Bachelor Nation babes pointed out and admitted that he “clicked” right away with the brunette beauty.
“We’ve only seen one episode. But you know who Hannah Ann reminds me of in the way you talk about her?” Rachel, 34, said, while Becca, 29, confessed that she knew “exactly” who the lawyer was going to call out. “Everybody say it with me now: One. Two, Three! Luke P.!”
“No, not even close. Not even close. Don’t even go there … She was intentional, but that’s different,” the 28-year-old pilot snapped back about the contestant — who also won the first impression rose.
“Listen. You know him outside of all of that. You know him past the first episode. I’m only talking about first episode. We didn’t know he was like that,” she explained after Becca noted that Hannah Ann could be “intentional” without being “manipulative.”
However, Rachel still continued to point out a few key similarities. “First episode it was like, wow, he’s really into this girl. He knows exactly what he wants. He’s very intentional in exactly what he wants to do. And she feels it as well. I’m just saying. We’ve only seen one episode,” the Texas native added.
Hannah has previously said that she ignored all of Luke P.’s red flags because she nearly experienced “love at first sight” with him, and he made it abundantly clear that he was there for her. Hannah Ann also ruffled some feathers on her own during the first night after she pulled Peter aside to talk to him three times. It seemingly charmed the leading man and he has no regrets about it.
“Hannah Ann was someone that … That girl knew exactly what she wanted coming into this and never let me question that,” Peter admitted. “And I literally mean that from the beginning. She was the first person to steal me away for the first conversation. She was the first kind of normal kiss. Not from like the first entrances. We clicked immediately.”
