Katy Perry Reveals Her Pregnancy Cravings Include ‘Spicy Foods’: ‘Light My Mouth Up!’
Hungry? Singer Katy Perry revealed her pregnancy cravings include “spicy foods” and “pickles” while expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom. Surprisingly, she admitted that she’s never had a taste for hot food until now.
“My number one craving is avocado toast with Tabasco. I’ve never been into spicy foods in my life, but light my mouth up right now!” the 35-year-old dished on Benny Blanco’s live stream in partnership with DoorDash. The organization is donating 850,000 meals to families in need through its partnership with Feeding America. However, she noted that there are some other items on her favorite foods list right now. “During this time there’s lots of cravings … lots of things to consider when going to the grocery store, but trust and believe I have stocked up on pickles,” the “Roar” artist hilariously added.
That’s not all the “Dark Horse” artist has been indulging in. A source exclusively dished to Life & Style that Orlando, 43, has been “along for the ride” with whatever the songstress gets hungry for. “She wants everything from sweet cream-filled cupcakes to spicy Thai food. Katy wants it all … Orlando is her personal Postmates,” the insider explained. Katy’s pregnancy cravings have been “like a roller coaster,” noted the source.
The actor hasn’t just been supportive when it comes to Katy’s stomach rumblings, a separate insider exclusively told Life & Style that he’s been indulging the first-time mama in any way she needs. “He’s rubbing Katy’s belly and singing softly to their baby. He massages her feet, rubs her shoulders, pampers her as much as he can,” the second insider said. “Orlando is all about spoiling her and trying to get her to relax, to be in the moment and enjoy this special time in their lives.”
The longtime couple got engaged in February 2019 and announced on March 4 they are expecting their first child together. The A-listers shared a month later they are having a girl with a gender reveal photo featuring the Pirates of Caribbean actor with pink icing all over his face. Orlando shares his 9-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
We can’t wait to see what’s in store for Katy and her hunky man. In the meantime, it looks like she’ll be enjoying many more pickles!
