Catherine, 33, confessed that she was “so emotional” when she discovered that she was pregnant. “I was like, ‘I just had one of these!'” she told People.

Shook to Her Core

Considering she just gave birth one year ago, the starlet wasn’t expecting things to happen so fast. She noted, “It was a complete surprise and I stared at the wall for a good 24 hours.”

They’ll Have Their Hands Full

Catherine got the positive test results back in the spring, which made it that much more shocking. “Isaiah was 11 months old when we found out,” she explained. “It was a little overwhelming to think about but we wanted a big family.”

They may have been a bit shell shocked at first but they’re thrilled. “This is just the way it was supposed to happen. So we’re excited,” Catherine gushed.

Surprisingly, Sean, 35, was the one who called it after Catherine “wasn’t feeling well.” He asked if there was a possibility that she was pregnant before she took antibiotics. Dad knows best?

“Every time we get pregnant, [Sean] tells me,” Catherine divulged about the moment she found out. “I leave the stick in the bathroom and he comes out with the stick. So every time that we’ve found out, he’s the one who is telling me.”

Catherine continued, “He had Isaiah in his arms and I was like, ‘Surely this is not going to happen.’ I did not think it was going to be true.”

The parents were “stunned” but are looking forward to creating even more “precious memories” as a family of five.

One good thing about the timing of Catherine’s pregnancy is that their kids are going to be extremely close in age. “Obviously, it’s going to be overwhelming and exhausting but they get to be best friends forever,” the brunette beauty gushed.

Who’s Tired?

The husband and wife are keeping their eyes on the bigger picture. “We get to have these children who are going to be so close in age and get to grow up and have all these memories. Yeah, it’ll be hard for us but it’s just a chapter. It’s so fleeting,” Catherine assured.

Isaiah doesn’t quite understand yet but Samuel is ready for the new addition. “He’s very excited and kissing the baby goodnight and praying for the baby,” the proud mom shared about her oldest.

The busy toddler is trying to collect all the details about his new brother or sister. She continued, “He knows what’s happening. He wants to see the baby — he’s trying to look down my shirt to see the baby!”

Started From Reality TV Now We’re Here

Catherine met Sean as a contestant on The Bachelor during season 17. They got engaged on the show and officially tied the knot during a televised wedding in January 2014. The stud had previously appeared on Emily Maynard‘s season.

In July 2016, they welcomed their oldest child into the world. Their second baby was born just 22 months later. That is one rapidly expanding family!

It’s safe to say the couple is still completely smitten with each other. “When I first saw you on The Bachelorette, I knew you were hot. I knew you were a family guy and that you had a kind heart. All before I even met you,” Catherine began a heartfelt Father’s Day post for her hubby on June 16.

Not surprisingly, their kids adore their dad just as much. “I get to see you make my children laugh,” Catherine raved about her partner. “I get to watch them call for you when they are in need. I see them light up and race to you when you walk in the room.”
