Kylie Kelce’s quiet life was thrust into the spotlight in February 2023 when her husband, Jason Kelce, and the Philadelphia Eagles played against his brother, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. The attention on the Kelces then increased in September 2023 when Taylor Swift went public with Travis as her boyfriend. The couple got serious very quickly, with many fans speciulating that Taylor will become Kylie’s sister-in-law by the end of 2024. So, who is Kylie, and how did she come to join the Kelce family?
Where Is Kylie Kelce From?
She’s a true Philly girl! Kylie was born in 1992 in Narberth, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. She attended Lower Merion High School in nearby Ardmore, then went on to study communications at Cabrini University in Wayne, Pennsylvania, just down the road from where she grew up. Kylie was a star athlete at the school, as the 5’11 blonde played defense on the university’s field hockey squad.
How Did Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce Meet?
The couple found each other via the dating app Tinder. Kylie shared in 2015 when the pair went Instagram official, “Thank goodness you swiped right too.”
When Did Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce Get Married?
The lovebirds tied the knot on April 14, 2018, at Philadelphia’s Logan Hotel. Their 120-pound Irish Wolfhound, Winnie, helped walk them down the aisle after Jason and Kylie said their “I do’s” in front of 170 guests.
“I couldn’t pick a better couple. I work with couples all the time, and you can tell when people are a good match. These two are good for each other on every level,” their wedding photographer Sarah Alderman told Philadelphia magazine at the time.
Do Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce Have Kids?
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Wyatt Elizabeth Kelce, on October 2, 2019. She became a big sister when Kylie gave birth to a second daughter, Elliotte Ray, in March 2021.
Jason shared a precious photo of his family dressed up for Halloween in 2022, where he wore a giant Piglet costume as his daughters, dressed as Tigger and Winnie the Pooh, sat on his lap. Kylie donned an Eeyore costume to complete the theme.
The couple welcomed their third daughter, Bennett Llewellyn, on February 23, 2023, a little over one week after a pregnant Kylie attended Super Bowl LVII.
On November 22, 2024, Kylie revealed that she and Jason would be welcoming a fourth little girl into their family in 2025. Kylie shared the news via Instagram with a photo of her daughters. Each one wore sweaters with the words “Big Sister” stitched across the front.
Is Kylie Kelce Friends With Taylor Swift?
Taylor and Travis became a public sensation after they confirmed their relationship at a Chiefs game in September 2023. The pop star attended many other games throughout the rest of the season, often appearing on camera. Though the rest of Travis’ family made their love for Taylor clear, it was rumored that Kylie wasn’t fond of the singer after a November 2023 interview where she discussed the media attention.
“It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera. I was a communication major in college. I love to be behind it. That’s my bread and butter,” she told Spectrum News at the time.
However, Kylie shut down rumors that she threw shade at Taylor in a TikTok that month.
“Nonsense. I’m gonna tell you what we truly believe at the bottom of our hearts in Philadelphia. F–k around and find out,” she said in response to a headline that suggested she was “avoiding the Taylor Swift spotlight.” “I said it’s not my cup of tea to have attention on me. I didn’t say that. You’re reaching! You are reaching!”
Kylie continued to show subtle support for Taylor by liking posts about the pop star on social media and using one of her songs in another TikTok video. The pair then met in public for the first time at the Chiefs’ January 2024 playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. Taylor and Kylie were spotted chatting it up and taking photos together, so they seem to be getting along!
Will Kylie Kelce Be at Super Bowl 2025?
Even though Jason officially retired from the NFL in 2024, he and Kylie will still be at the big game on February 9, 2025, to cheer on Travis. However, Kylie made it clear that she won’t be torn on who to root for as the Kansas City Chiefs take on her hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Travis has been there for his entire career,” Kylie explained during the January 30, 2025, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “He has worked so hard and put in so much time that I truly am, as always, cheering Travis on. I love him, he’s my family. So I will always cheer on Travis’ accomplishments and hopefully successes. That being said, I was raised to bleed green.”
