Is Angelina Jolie saying au revoir to Hollywood?
“I will do some films and I am so fortunate to have the job, it’s a really lucky profession to be a part of and I enjoy it. But if it went away tomorrow I would be very happy to be home with the children,” she recently told Britain’s Channel 4 News.
“I think I’m going to have to give up the acting as the kids hit the teenage years, anyway, too much to manage at home,” she adds.
And it’s not the first time the Oscar-winning star, who’s engaged to Brad Pitt, has hinted she’ll be leaving her profession behind.
“I’m very, very grateful, it’s a fun job. It’s a luxury,” she said in 2010. “Look, I’m at work today in the middle of Venice. But I don’t think I’ll do it much longer.”
If Angie’s expecting to give it all up by the time her oldest son Maddox, 11, turns 13, it’s not likely. The brunette beauty is currently working on the film Maleficent, which four-year-old daughter Vivienne has a minor role, out on March 14, 2014. She’s also linked to Kung Fu Panda 3, out in 2016, and announced to star in Salt 2, the sequel to her 2010 hit.
As for partner Brad, he has pretty much the same idea. In an interview with Australia’s 60 Minutes last year, the now 48-year-old revealed how much longer he’d like to continue acting onscreen.

“Three years. I am really enjoying the producing side and development of stories and putting those pieces together,” he says, adding, “Getting stories to the plate that might have had a tougher time otherwise.”
Though Brad's recently revealed they don't have a wedding date set yet, perhaps planning is something they want to devote their time to?
