Emotions are running high for Bruce Jenner.
Not only has his alleged decision to transition taken center stage, but he’s also dealing with the aftermath of a car crash that left one woman — his 69-year-old neighbor — dead on the scene.
Now, the former Olympian’s friends and family are worried about his mental health, as he’s said to be depressed — and the hormones he’s reportedly taking may be adding to his emotional distress.

A friend close to the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star tells ‘Life & Style,’ “Bruce has been crying day and night.”
Dr. Amy Lewis, a dermatologist who has not treated the 65-year-old, but is familiar with the hormone therapy Bruce is reportedly undergoing, explains the chemicals can “cause mood and behavioral changes, including depression.”

In his only statement regarding the accident, Bruce revealed his pain while offering his sincerest condolences to the family of the victim.
“My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident,” he said.
“It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible.”
