Plastic surgery went terribly wrong for butt model Andressa Urach, who claims she died after septic shock caused her organs to fail during a thigh injection procedure in December.
The 27-year-old says she came “face to face with death” after she briefly died in the emergency room.
“I’ll never forget it. Coming face to face with death, I realized that nothing else mattered,” she says in a new interview. “Everything I had battled for, my beauty, my bags, my clothes, my car — I’d left all that behind. It was the moment I realized I was nothing, that we are only here on this world to save our souls.”
Urach’s body negatively reacted to the injected chemical fillers, which rotted the tissue in her thighs and butt. Luckily, doctors were able to drain the chemicals from her legs, but the procedure has left her with gaping holes that will eventually scar.

“I’d give everything to turn back time and do things differently. Nobody knows what I’m going through, I’m in constant agony. I’m still in the middle of a horrible nightmare,” says Urach, who’s known as one of the most beautiful women in her native Brazil.
She adds, “All this I’m going through is punishment for my stupid vanity.”
Confined to a wheelchair, Urach says she had no fears about going into the surgery as she’s gone under the knife several times before — she was even planning to remove a rib to make herself slimmer and a toe on each foot to make them thinner!

Since surviving the scary operation, the one-time runner up in Brazil’s famous Miss BumBum competition is focused on sharing her story to keep women from risking their lives for beauty.
“Now, thanks to God, I’m able to tell other women that vanity isn’t everything,” she tells the ‘Mail Online.’ “If all this serves as an example to warn others of the dangers of these things, to save other women from a premature death, then that was the reason I had to go through it.”
