Katie Corvino is the digital executive editor of In Touch Weekly, Life & Style Weekly, and Closer Weekly, leading its New York newsroom while also managing a team of writers in Los Angeles. <p class=”p1″>With several years of experience in digital media, Katie is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the three sites; spearheading their editorial strategy; assigning and editing exclusive, trending, and breaking news content; measuring and analyzing traffic performances; educating editors on best search engine optimization (SEO) practices; and implementing effective social media strategies across the brands. She also manages the sites’ editorial calendars, plans all editorial packages surrounding awards shows and TV coverage, and liaises with the photo and video departments.</p>

<p class=”p1″>Katie first joined <em>In Touch</em> and <em>Life & Style</em> as deputy editor and was soon promoted to executive editor. She began overseeing a third site, <em>Closer Weekly</em>, in April 2019. She previously worked at Elite Daily as its deputy entertainment editor and Bustle Digital Group as its celebrity editor. Over the course of her career, Katie has interviewed notable celebrities, including Chrissy Teigen, Jordyn Woods, Samira Wiley, Tracee Ellis Ross, Drew Barrymore, Lili Reinhart, Hilary Duff, Camila Cabello, Ashley Graham and more, and conducted red carpet coverage at a variety of awards shows, including the 2016 Oscars, the 2018 BBMAs, the 2016 and 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, and the 2016 and 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows. She once took a selfie with Demi Lovato and it nearly ended her life.</p>
