From the Met Gala to the wedding ceremony! Rapper 2 Chainz dazzled everyone on the red carpet when he got down on one knee and proposed to his longtime love Kesha Ward.

“It’s crazy, he just gave me this,” Kesha gushed on E!’s live stream. “So happy! I love it,” she added. The bride-to-be was even spotted wiping tears from her eyes.

This isn’t the first time 2 Chainz — real name Tauheed Epps — has made a grand gesture on a red carpet in front of tons of fans, paparazzi, and onlookers. The couple — who share three children, daughters Harmony and Heaven, and a son named Halo — got engaged at the BET Awards in 2013. However, despite the move, the couple never actually made things official.

“They’ve been together so long and have three children together that he always refers to Kesha as his wife, but they’ve never actually tied the knot!” a source told People.

The 2018 Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination event marked the 40-year-old rapper’s first-ever Met Gala. While not much is known about 2 Chainz’ private life or his relationship with Kesha, it is estimated that the couple started dating back in 2006. There are also mixed reports regarding whether or not they’re already married — some fans seemed to think they’d already tied the knot.
