Angelina Jolie “Filled With Envy” Over George Clooney’s Wife Amal! (EXCLUSIVE)
George Clooney, who’s expecting twins with his wife Amal, recently turned to his longtime friend Brad Pitt for parenting advice.
However, sources revealed exclusively to Life & Style that as recently as six months ago, the pair was barely speaking, and it was all because of Angelina Jolie‘s jealousy over the successful human rights lawyer.

“Angie couldn’t stand being around Amal,” an insider said, “not because Amal was unkind or rude, but solely because Angie was filled with envy.”
And she didn’t keep her feelings to herself. Angelina, 41, refused to see the Clooneys and made negative comments about Amal to mutual friends, the insider adds.
“Angelina would even knock Amal’s looks and fashion sense,” the insider explained. “Amal seemed to ignore it, but George didn’t want to sit by and watch his wife get cut down.”

To make matters worse, George was especially hurt “Brad wouldn’t stand up to Angie.”
It’s no surprise that Angelina would distance herself from the British beauty. In a 2011 interview, the mother-of-six revealed she doesn’t have many female friends.
“Well, I have a few girlfriends, I just… I stay at home a lot,” she told Marie Claire. “I’m just not very social. I don’t do a lot with them, and I’m very homebound.”
She added, “I’ll talk to my family, I talk to Brad … But I don’t know, I don’t have a lot of friends I talk to. He is really the only person I talk to.”

Since Angelina blindsided Brad by filing for divorce in September, he and George have become close again.
“It took some time for George to forgive and accept Brad because he was really hurt,” the insider says. “But he understands what Brad was up against being married to Angie. She’s tough.”
