Fans really wanted to know the status of the couple’s relationship after Jennifer and ex-husband Ben Affleck ignited reconciliation rumors on March 2, 2025. The former Daredevil costars were spotted at their son Samuel Affleck’s 13th birthday party, where they enjoyed a family paintball outing and looked cozy while fighting in the line of duty. While the Elektra actress shot at her target, photos showed that Ben had his hands wrapped around her hips while pulling her into his embrace.

When Did Jennifer Garner and John Miller Start Dating?
Weeks after the 13 Going on 30 star and Ben finalized their divorce in October 2018, Us Weekly reported her relationship with John.
“They’ve been together six months — and it’s getting pretty serious,” a source told the outlet at the time. Meanwhile, a second insider told the publication, “Jen brings out the best in John, and he is the happiest he has probably ever been. It’s a loving, healthy relationship.”
After maintaining a private relationship for one year, Jennifer and John split while dealing with the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
“They split up before L.A. went into lockdown,” a source exclusively told Life & Style in August 2020.
After returning to their routine, Jennifer and John gave their relationship another go in 2021.

Jennifer and John’s bond progressed after their 2021 reconciliation and they are still together as of publication.
Their bond deepened when John met Jennifer’s kids, Violet Affleck, Seraphina “Fin” Affleck and Samuel Affleck, whom she shares with Ben, in 2022.
“All the kids have met him and each other, it wasn’t a big deal,” a source told In Touch at the time. “The blending of all the families has happened at a very natural progression. They’re all just going on with their lives.”

“Jen’s had so much going on with Ben, it just took a toll,” the second insider said.
The following month, a third insider applauded the business executive for his “incredible patience” with the Adam Project actress while she offered a helping hand to Ben.
After facing uphill battles, John and Jennifer started to enjoy the view of their relationship.
“John has proven, without a doubt, that he’s willing to stand by Jen through anything,” source No. 4 exclusively told Life & Style in February 2025. “She’s saying the wedding will be held this summer.”
Reconciliation rumors surrounded Jennifer and Ben after their cozy embrace was photographed at Samuel’s 13th birthday party the following month.
Jennifer, John nor Ben have addressed the pictures.
“It’s no secret that Ben’s relationship with his ex is better than ever. Ben and Jen haven’t had this many laughs or been this comfortable with each other in years,” a source told In Touch on March 5, 2025. “It’s like they’re newlyweds again, except it’s nothing like that. They’ve developed a true friendship.”
