Over it! Former Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk Jr. took a moment to vent on Instagram about the “parent police” after receiving countless messages and comments about the way he and Lauren Burnham are raising their newborn daughter, Alessi. The Bachelor Nation couple posts quite a bit about their precious family of three, but the negative responses became too much for the racecar driver.

“So, slight rant just because I’m in one of those moods. Why do people feel so opinionated when it comes to parenting?” the 37-year-old began in a video on his Instagram Story on September 15. “Like, you can’t do anything right. Either it’s … I don’t know, I don’t even know … I can’t even describe it, it just pisses me off. That’s it.”

The newly minted dad then shared a message he received as an example of his frustration. “Wow, everything is in a box today. The best stimulation a baby can get is from interacting with their parents through song and touch,” a follower wrote in a direct message to the reality stud after he promoted a monthly delivery service of baby development products. “I brought my child up without a box delivered every month and today she is 31 and a mental health teacher. She turned out fine.”

The dad of one admitted that he was “just annoyed,” but still felt the weight of judgment from strangers on the internet. “It’s not that bad of a DM, I get it. It’s more of the feeling I get that nothing we do lives up to the standard of whichever A-hole is DM’ing me,” he explained while adding, “We get hundreds of these types of DMs.”

Don’t worry, Arie’s irritation was short-lived once he got home to his sweet daughter. “All is good now,” he captioned a photo of the 4-month-old smiling while wearing zebra pajamas. How could that cute face not make your heart melt?

We think Arie and Lauren are killing the parenting game!
