Cardi B Debuts a New Lip Piercing on Instagram and It’s Honestly Kinda Fire
New bling ‘n things! Rapper Cardi B took to social media to show off her new piercing — and we can’t believe how good it looks! The 26-year-old new mama already has her tongue pierced, but she showed off new double lip studs in a video posted on April 13.
As Cardi rapped to her own track, she gave us a glimpse at her hot ~lewk~ which not only included the sick new piercing but also seafoam green hair, neon yellow nails, and some seriously gorgeous hoop earrings that read “Kulture” inside. Naturally, the proud mama is gonna rep her sweet nine-month-old daughter! She even tagged @jillhellerjewelry, who made the earrings, to shout her out for a job well done. Honestly, they are cute. Mamas — take notes!
It’s been really fun to see the “I Like It” rapper embark on her personal journey through motherhood, because she’s so candid, funny and honest about it. Back on April 7, she posted a split image of Kulture and a baby photo of her sister, Hennessy Carolina. “Bro this is weird. I gave birth to another Hennessy,” she captioned the “twins” photo, tagging her sis in the LOL moment.
Overall, it’s been pretty rare for Cardi to post pics of her daughter, but slowly she’s come to terms with showing off her baby girl to the world. “As soon as she was born, one month in [Offset] was like, ‘She’s so beautiful. Watch how people gonna go crazy,’” she explained to Harper’s Bazaar about her baby and husband back in February.
“‘Cause a lot of people were saying mean stuff, like that we don’t post her because she’s ugly,” she revealed. “But then we were very concerned because we were getting a lot of threats, so he said, ‘The world don’t even deserve to see her.’” We’re really glad the couple changed their minds.
She’s also not afraid to get real about what scares her about being a parent — and let’s be real, this one probably scares us all. “This freaks me out sooo much,” she captioned her repost of an Instagram meme back in March which showed a photo of a tiny baby hand getting its nails clipped. “The only part of parenting scarier than childbirth,” the meme read.
