Ariana Grande May Have Wrapped Up 2018 With Another Tattoo Written In Japanese
Just keep breathin’ and breathin’ and inking? Ariana Grande has gotten tattooed for love, to honor her furry friends, and to hang out with her Nonna. So, it comes as no surprise the “Imagine” singer would wrap up 2018 with some fresh ink.
The 25-year-old posted a close-up photo of, what appears to be, her forearm with a series of symbols written on it. Although it looks like Ari may have drawn it on herself, the songstress seems very certain about making it permanent. She tagged @girlknewyork (aka Mira Mariah), one of Ari’s favorite NYC-based artists, so you know the new tat idea is probably in the works.
Reportedly, the series of symbols mean “let’s sing” in Japanese, according to Daily Mail. Ari just got tattooed by Mira at the beginning of December with a design that was out of this world (literally). The large moon and stars tattoo was placed on the top of her left hand and it’s her vibe for sure.
Ariana had a tumultuous 2018 with her break up from Pete Davidson and the death of the ex-boyfriend Mac Miller. However, the artist is looking ahead to a brighter new year. “I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years of my career and the worst of my life,” Ari admitted while she accepted Billboard‘s Woman of the Year award.
The singer continued, “A lot of people would look at someone in my position right now as an artist that could be at her peak and think, ‘She’s really got her s—t together, she’s really on it. She’s got it all.’ And I do, but as far as my personal life goes, I really have no idea what the f—k I’m doing.”
However, she’s ready to make some changes this year. She explained, “I look forward to hopefully learning to give some of the love and forgiveness that I’ve given away so frivolously and easily to men in the past to myself, hopefully, this year.” Yas, you go, Ari!
Ariana obviously has a very exciting year ahead, and she needs the ink to match.
