Fans Accuse Cardi B of Lip-Synching at the Grammys and They Are Not Having It
After Cardi B gave a killer performance of her single “Money” at the 2019 Grammys, the Bardi Gang is accusing her of not actually singing live. It’s the first time she performed the track, so naturally no one really has any other performance of it to compare it to.
“Cardi B is losing her own Lip Sync Battle,” wrote one person on Twitter. “What in the lip-sync is going on here cardi b,” added another fan. Whether she sang live or not, the “I Like It” singer, 26, still slayed, especially with her awesome dance moves. Based on the faces in the crowd, everyone was here for it.
The rapper has been the topic of conversation all night, but not only because of her performance. While on the red carpet, Cardi showed up with Offset, shocking the world. The two announced their split in December 2018, but by the looks of their PDA at the Grammys, they are back on.
Cardi took to Instagram to tell fans she and her baby daddy decided to part ways. “We’re really good friends and you know, we’re really good business partners and, you know, he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we’ve got a love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault,” she said in a now-deleted video. However, despite their ups and downs, the hip-hop stars have succesfully managed to coparent. They share one daughter together — Kulture, who was born in July 2018.
In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Cardi hinted she would rather date someone in the music industry because they would have more in common. “You know, if I date somebody in the industry, that’s another person in the industry. If I date somebody who is not in the industry, he might not understand my lifestyle,” she told the outlet.
It looks like no one understands her more than Offset!
