Tall Hair, Big Dreams: Here’s How Far Garrett Goes With Hannah Brown on ‘The Bachelorette’
We stan! Bachelorette contestant Garrett and his full head of hair have gotten a lot of camera time this season. Besides vying for Hannah Brown‘s heart, he’s been butting heads with this season’s ~villain~ Luke P. during the latest episodes. The Southern gent loves to call out anyone who’s lying and isn’t afraid to speak his mind. However, just because fans love him doesn’t mean the leading lady feels the same way. Although Garrett and Hannah seem like a great pair, he is sent home right before hometown dates. His last date on the show began as a 3-on-1 with him, Luke and Peter. At some point during their outing, Hannah gives a rose to the hunky pilot so Garrett and Luke are left to battle it out. Hannah opted to give the last rose for hometowns to controversial contestant Luke, according to Reality Steve.
Before Hannah breaks things off with Garrett, it looks as though he gets in an explosive argument with this season’s troublemaker. In teasers, Luke can be seen screaming that he’s not going to let Garrett “mess this up” for him. The Florida native also got heated over Hannah and the stud going bungee jumping naked together.
Although Garrett gets sent packing before hometowns, he seems like a great catch for some lucky woman. His sister-in-law, Jessalin Powell, signed him up for the reality show after she “saw so many similarities between him and Hannah.” His proud sib gushed exclusively to Life & Style about what an awesome guy he is. “I think he is very funny. He’s hilarious. He’s made me come to tears many, many times out of laughter,” she confessed. “He is goofy in a lot of ways. He is really fun to be around. He will always lighten up a room. He has got a good set of values. He was raised to do things the right way, so he’s always been pretty respectful. He doesn’t really get into trouble.”
In addition, he’s been known to be a very committed boyfriend. “He has always been very dedicated in relationships,” Jessalin continued. “He has had long distance relationships where he would drive every weekend and would get back at 4 a.m, and he’d have to go to work at 5 a.m. just to see the girl. He is very dedicated, but he also needs someone who is equally dedicated to him and who is willing to do what it takes to make it work.”
