Pregnant Gigi Hadid Is ‘Growing an Angel’: She’s ‘Cherishing This Time’
What a stunning mama-to-be! Pregnant Gigi Hadid shared five gorgeous photos from a special pregnancy shoot that took place in July — and her baby bump looked so sweet.
“[Growing] an angel,” the 25-year-old model captioned the first photo in the series on August 26. In the second set of images, Gigi revealed the shoot took place on July 26. “Cherishing this time,” the A-lister captioned the final set of three pictures. “Appreciate all the love [and] well wishes. Will never forget creating these special images with my friends.”
Gi also shared the images to her Instagram Stories and wrote a sweet note to her unborn daughter. “Can’t wait to meet you,” the Victoria’s Secret alum gushed.
The set of artistic and elegant photos are the first full pictures of the Vogue cover girl’s growing belly. Gigi has been keeping her pregnancy mostly under wraps and hasn’t flaunted her bump too much since revealing her pregnancy in April.
In fact, the most fans have seen of Gigi’s tummy before these snapshots was during an Instagram Live session on July 15. The supermodel flaunted her bump during the livestream in response to trolls slamming her for hiding it up until that point.
Life & Style confirmed Gigi and longtime boyfriend Zayn Malik were expecting their first child on April 28. Days later, the blonde beauty revealed her pregnancy to Jimmy Fallon while appearing on The Tonight Show via livestream from her family’s sprawling Pennsylvania farm.
The Los Angeles native and the One Direction alum have been spending most of their time at the east coast dwelling while anticipating the birth of their first child — and the couple feel the timing of their pregnancy is actually “blessing in disguise” despite having to quarantine, an insider exclusively told Life & Style.
“She’s super blessed and likes how the lockdown has forced her to make this special time more personal,” the source explained. “Zayn, who really values his privacy, also thinks it’s great. He’s happy staying in with Gigi and pampering her as much as possible. He’s also a big belly rubber and he likes to talk to his baby.”
