A powerful experience. Former Bachelorette star Hannah Brown shared an emotional response about her time on Dancing With the Stars. The reality babe and her partner, Alan Bersten, won season 28 after working extremely hard week after week. There’s no denying that the Alabama native put her heart and soul into each routine and left it all on the dance floor.

“WE DID IT! Thank you all so much!” the 25-year-old simply captioned a photo of herself and Alan, also 25, holding the coveted mirrorball trophy. Of course, her fellow Bachelor Nation alums praised her big win. “Congrats! So well deserved!!!!” Blake Horstmann gushed. “Congrats! Those twerking competitions paid off … Awesome job!” Mike Johnson added. “Yassss!!!! You killed it! So well deserved!! Proud of you!!” Tayshia Adams lovingly wrote. “WOOOOOO!!!!” Hannah Godwin echoed.

The starlet also shared her surprise on her Instagram Story. “What just happened?” she captioned an adorable video of her and Alan admiring their new trophy. The newly minted champion also added a video of when they were announced as the winners and added, “The best moment!”

Fans quickly fell in love with Hannah and Alan because their chemistry was so electric. The reality babe exclusively revealed to Life & Style the secret to their strong bond. “I think it’s because we’re honest with each other,” she explained at the DWTS Top 6 Finalist Party at Dominique Ansel on November 4. “If we don’t like something that one of us says, we just squash it right away. We just move forward. We have grown. I’ll be like, ‘I don’t like when you say that.’ He’s like, ‘OK, you gotta stop doing that.’ I’m like, all right.”

Although her partnership with the Minnesota native was rock solid, the reality starlet experienced many ups and downs along the way. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba called her out for being “disconnected” from the routines during the Halloween-themed episode on October 28. Surprisingly, Alan called the tough critiques “accurate.”

After taking some time to reflect, the former Bachelor contestant from Colton Underwood‘s season shared a very candid message with fans on Instagram. “I came into this experience a little broken and confused — more than I’ve shared. Everyday [sic] has brought its challenges with my past, my fears and the uncomfortableness of opening myself up again to be judged on something VERY scary like learning a new skill to perform each week,” she captioned a photo of herself and Alan on October 28. “It’s true there is a disconnect … I KNOW I have a lot more I can give. I want to be able to feel free and confident to dance with my whole heart. I’m working on getting there.”

Hannah and Alan more than delivered this season and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
