Amy opted for beautiful waves on Sunday, Jan. 6, with the help of her stylist. “We absolutely go over looks together when prepping for a big event like an awards show or premiere!” he revealed to Life & Style. “I’m very big on collaborating with my clients and the team to come to a final style.”

When you’re getting your hair done, come in with an idea of what you want. “Today for the Golden Globes, the hair inspiration came from a cross section of Veronica Lake-esque waves meets Lauren Hutton. ’70s playful voluminous curls,” he said of what Amy wanted for her look.

Just note that hair can take a long time to style, so be sure to plan ahead! John admitted that it took him “about an hour and a half” for him to do the red-headed beauty’s hair.
