It looks like no one approves of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez‘s reconciliation more than his mom, Pattie Mallette! While attending the Justice Speaks Holiday Benefit Luncheon in LA on Dec. 9, the 41-year-old gushed over her only child’s on-again girlfriend.

“I don’t know so much about their personal relationship because [Justin] doesn’t share a whole lot, but I love her,” Pattie told People magazine. “I support anything [he does], if he loves her I love her, and I’ve met her and we have a special bond so I think she’s precious. I can’t really speak on their relationship, that’s between them.”

Pattie also touched on her son’s renewed spirituality. “I think he’s just keeping his focus on God, and really trying to figure out what counts and what matters,” she shared. “I think he’s trying to be somehow normal in such an abnormal world, trying to find that balance. I feel like he’s growing up and I’m really proud of him.”

Though she wouldn’t give details on the singers’ relationship, the Canadian did say, “I think anyone with real love in their life is more grounded. I think there’s so much confusion sometimes and facade in this Hollywood world, and so it’s important for us to find the ones that truly care and stick with them.”

As Life & Style exclusively reported, Justin has moved in with Selena, but the duo plans on finding a new place. “Justin and Selena want a fresh start together, on neutral ground,” an insider explained. “The only way they can do that is by purchasing a mansion neither of them has lived in before.”

Adds the source, “They want to avoid all the craziness of Hollywood. They can’t wait to start a family, so they’re looking to buy a baby-friendly pad in Calabasas or Hidden Hills [outside LA].” And, of course, money isn’t an issue for the megastars. “Their ideal budget is around $15 million.”
