Love him or hate him, there’s no denying that Justin Bieber has always had a quality head of hair. Save for these past few months, that is. Somewhere along the line, the pop star’s signature ‘do morphed into what can only be described as the stylings of a blonde muppet creature. Thankfully, however, Justin just got the haircut we’ve all been praying for. Phew! 

On Oct. 30, the Biebs took to his Instagram Stories to show off his new hairstyle. Here’s the thing, though. Justin didn’t just get a little trim — he shaved his head! While at first, it was a bit of a shock, fans ended up being pleased with the outcome.

“Justin Bieber cutting his hair is the best thing to happen to me in 2018,” one fan wrote on Twitter. “Justin Bieber CUT HIS HAIR! This is not a drill. Praise God,” added another. “OUR PRAYERS CAME TRUE. JUSTIN BIEBER CUT HIS HAIR,” a particularly hyped girl chimed in.

Now we know what you might be thinking, “It’s just a haircut, what’s the big deal?” Well, back in March, the 25-year-old announced some pretty, er, outlandish plans for his hair. “I’m going to grow my hair down to my toes,” he revealed on his Instagram Stories at the time.

Needless to say, we’re all very relieved that Justin’s mane never made it to down to his toes. TBH, we have no idea how his model wife, Hailey Baldwin, dealt with the stringy mess for so long. Love really is blind, we guess. 

At the end of the day, it’s doubtful that Justin will ever return to his peak hair days (2010). That said, we’re diggin’ the buzz cut.
