So cute! Katie Holmes and her daughter, Suri Cruise, showed off their matching outfits on a walk in New York City on Monday, July 22. The pair is often spotted out and about in the Big Apple, and it seems like they couldn’t help but show off their stylish athleisure style on the street this time around. Cool and Casual

The 40-year-old wore a purple tank top with black leggings and flip flops, while the 13-year-old wore a pink T-shirt with patterned purple leggings and blue shoes. The two looked like they were trying to stay cool during the NYC heatwave.

Out and About

The mother-daughter duo was even in sync when they crossed the street, too! Clearly, the Dawson’s Creek alum and her daughter are very close. In June, Katie and Suri stopped by a bakery to pick up coffee and a treat and prior to that, they braved the rain while on their coffee run.

Doting Mom

The Ohio native is a single parent — she was married to Suri’s dad, Tom Cruise, from 2006 to 2012 — and she tries to keep her daughter grounded as much as possible. “Of course, you try your best. I try very hard because I’m very grateful for my upbringing, my parents, my siblings,” she revealed on the Today show in 2014. “I try to do what they did for me for my little one.”

The First Daughter star is usually the one looking after her little girl. The duo frequently travels together or attends events such as basketball games or concerts.

The Hollywood A-lister also made it clear that her daughter is her number one priority. “My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now. It’s very important that I’m present, and she has a stable, innocent childhood,” she town Town & Country magazine in March 2017.

The mom of one is super proud of the woman Suri is becoming. “She is so sweet and well-mannered. She’s just a good girl who is a joy to be around,” a source told Us Weekly. “Katie has done things right with her because she’s very grounded and down to earth.”

The insider continued, “Suri has grown up spending a lot of time with Katie’s family in Ohio, and she’s close to her grandparents and aunts. They are a close-knit family and have done everything they can to be there for her and to help with her upbringing.”

Suri’s career might be taking off shortly since she may dabble in the modeling world. “Modeling agencies are practically beating Katie’s door down to sign Suri up,” a source told Radar Online in May. “Suri’s really excited — she’s very much a little performer.”

Meanwhile, Katie’s love life is thriving since she has been dating actor Jamie Foxx. “Katie just can’t quit Jamie. It’s that simple,” a source exclusively dished to Life & Style about their relationship. “He’s the first guy that treats her as an equal, he doesn’t judge her, and they really have a lot of fun together.”

So, how does Suri feel about the 51-year-old? “Suri goes to [Jamie] for fatherly advice and guidance,” a source told In Touch. “Suri approves of Jamie and just wants her mom to be happy.”
