She really made her fans ROAR!

Katy Perry recently chopped her blonde locks into a pixie cut — but people are upset after she compared her hair transformation to Barack Obama.

In an Instagram Live over the weekend, the “Firework” songstress, 32, took some time to answer fan questions. And when one commenter said they missed her long, dark hair, the singer responded in the most bizarre way possible.

"Oh, someone says, 'I miss your old black hair,'" she said to the camera. "Oh, really? Do you miss Barack Obama as well? Oh, OK. Times change. Bye! See you guys later."

The blonde beauty clearly realized that what she said would ruffle some feathers because she quickly logged off after the remark.

"I should leave now," she laughed, while someone off-camera can be heard saying, “You’re cut off!”

Fans quickly took to twitter to criticize Katy’s “tasteless humor.”

“WTH was she thinking?!” one fan replied, while another added, “This b–ch think she is the best but she has no personality and she is stupid and her new single [is a] flop.”

This isn’t the first time Katy’s comments have received major backlash. Most recently, the “Last Friday Night” hitmaker came under fire at the Grammys for her insensitive comments about Britney Spears’ 2007 breakdown.

When asked on the red carpet about her hiatus between albums, Katy seemingly threw shade at the pop princess.

"That’s called taking care of your mental health,” she said of her break. “[It was] fantastic… I haven't shaved my head yet.”

Fans quickly sprang to Brit’s defense. "Katy Perry mocking Britney on the red carpet. Not cute! Good luck with that new single, sis," one viewer wrote, before another added, "1. Don't throw shade at Britney 2. Don't make fun of mental illness 3. Don't do it on TV."

Well, we hope that Katy has learned her lesson this time…
