Macaulay Culkin Just Recreated Some Of His Most Iconic ‘Home Alone’ Moments And We’ve Never Felt So Jolly

And the award for most nostalgic commercial ever goes to… Google! The company somehow got Macaulay Culkin to reprise his iconic role as Kevin McAllister, and recreate some of his most famous moments from Home Alone. Of course, since he’s all grown up now, he had to put a new, more technological spin on it!

“#heygoogle Have you ever wondered what Kevin McCallister is like as an adult?” Mac captioned the video, which he shared on Twitter on Dec. 19. “Me neither. But just in case you’re curious you should totally watch this #ad.”

The commercial features the famous McAllister house where Kevin was stranded alone as his family traveled to Paris after accidentally leaving him behind. Inside, he jumps on the bed, shaves, and enjoys dinner, all while asking his Google Home Hub to set reminders, read his calendar, and adjust the temperature in the house.

But the best part comes at the end, when Google does all the work of creating the pretend house party and setting the booby traps to scare the two robbers away. “Make Google do it,” the ad says. If only Kevin has this tech when he was a kid!

Fans were beyond merry after seeing the commercial, which definitely did the movie justice. “You win the internet today!” commented one very excited fan. Another agreed, saying, “MY CHILDHOOD IS RESTORED 😍😍😍” Of course, there was also a barrage of Home Alone gifs in the comments too, and they’ll all give you a good chuckle. Here are just a few:

Thanks for making our nostalgic Christmas dreams come true Kev… we mean Macaulay!
