There’s A Reason You’ll Never See Meghan Markle Rocking Red Lipstick

It’s obvious that Meghan Markle loves rocking a natural look. Take her birthday, for example, when the Duchess showed up to her friend’s wedding with minimal makeup and a flowy Club Monaco dress. 

Even on her wedding day, Meghan Markle stayed true to who she is and showed up with a fresh face looking flawless and natural. 

And it comes as no surprise that the new royal would keep the natural look even on her first solo outing with Queen Elizabeth. So why is it that we never see Meghan rocking a red lip? 

Well, the reason is simple: She’s simply not comfortable wearing it. “The one time she did a red lip, she just didn’t feel comfortable in it,”  Daniel Martin, the makeup artist who did her wedding look, said.

“She likes to talk and she’s not a fussy person, so she doesn’t want to have to worry about anything. They have so many engagements, you just have to stick with what you know and feel comfortable and confident and just own it.” Hey, we’ve all been there.
