Nikki Bella’s Fiance Artem Chigvintsev Reveals Their Newborn Son’s Cute Nickname on His 1-Month Birthday
The baby fever is real! Nikki Bella’s fiancé, Artem Chigvintsev, revealed their newborn’s cute nickname on Monday, August 31. “Happy one month, my little Teo,” the Dancing With the Stars pro, 38, captioned a sweet father-son photo, along with a heart emoji.
Artem and Nikki, 36, welcomed their baby boy, Matteo Artemovich Chigvintsev, on July 31 — and have pretty much been gushing over him ever since. The Total Bellas star went into labor just one day before her twin sister, Brie Bella, gave birth to baby No. 2 with husband Daniel Bryan.
Nikki and Brie, 36, “hoped” they would give birth “on the same day,” a source exclusively told Life & Style at the time, but welcoming their sons one day apart was “close enough.”
The Incomparable coauthors “couldn’t be happier about it,” the insider added. “There was no sibling rivalry between them when it came to sharing their special day.”
Of course, Nikki and Brie’s sons will practically be raised as brothers. “I can’t wait for our Bellas Boys to grow up together!” Nikki tweeted on August 3 before joking about her delivery.
“I can’t believe Brie and I had boys less than 24 hours apart! Honestly, only us LOL and that I beat her,” the California native laughed. “As you can imagine, everyone said it was my baby and mine’s competitive side that kicked in!”
With Nikki adjusting quickly to motherhood, we suspect she and Artem will resume their wedding planning sometime soon. The couple, who got engaged in November 2019, put their nuptials on hold after finding out they were expecting.
“When I got engaged, the one thing I would have loved to do was the wedding planning, but I was so shocked when I found out I got pregnant,” Nikki explained to Life & Style in April
“I found out literally, like, less than two weeks later or two weeks later, and it just rocked us,” she continued. “I told Artem, I was like, ‘Artem, we have this baby, we can not do wedding planning because I just need to wrap my head around, like, I’m going to be a mom in less than nine months!’”
Here’s hoping we get to see Nikki and Artem walk down the aisle with little Teo by their side.
