Fashion photographer Victoria Janashvili has always understood the importance of capturing all different types of beauty.
And now, after deciding to publish a book of her pictures, she's making sure every body-type is captured in its pages, starting with plus size models Denise Bidot and Marina Bulatkina, who chose to pose nude for their portraits. (WARNING: NSFW)
"Even though the average American woman is a size 14, our society continues to set sterotypes as standards when it relates to the real body image of women," Janashvili said in a statement.
"This is why I spent years of my time taking pictures of different types of models," she added. "Through my book, I would like to continue to spread the mission and break social stereotypes, so we can take a stand on women feeling confident within their own skin."
In this particular set of photos, the models wear nothing but body paint "to take a position against all negative social views regarding curves or the size of a 'perfect woman.'"
