It’s all happening! Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is working with a doula leading up to the birth of their first child this spring, according to Us Weekly. A source revealed that the birthing coach has been visiting the Duchess at both her Oxfordshire residence and at Kensington Palace in anticipation for the new arrival. So exciting.

“Meghan is focused on calm and positive energy around the birth — she’s a big believer in that,” the source revealed about the 37-year-old’s decision to have a birthing assistant. We’re sure a doula is perfect for fostering that type of environment for the birth.

Her husband, Prince Harry, is also “doing everything he can to make sure Meghan’s comfortable and happy,” said the insider. We don’t need convincing to believe that one! Harry, 34, seems to be an incredibly doting husband.

Another thing the couple is currently waiting on is the completion of their new Frogmore Cottage residence. They’re hoping to move into their new home before the royal baby‘s arrival, but that might not go as planned.

“The one thing that’s holding up some of the work is the eco/energy center at the heart of Frogmore Cottage,” the insider explained to the outlet. “It was important for Harry to reduce their carbon footprint as much as possible.” Being very environmentally conscious, we’re sure Meg appreciates that.

According to the source, the Duchess already knows how she would like their new home to be decorated. “City meets country — lots of muted tones, plush accents and unique pieces from around the world,” the source explained, with “furniture and artwork belonging to the Royal Collection, which will be on loan to them indefinitely.” It sounds like it’s going to be seriously beautiful and we’re going to need pictures.

Despite the mayhem of the construction, the Sussexes are reportedly “calm” and “happy to go with the flow.” We love that in a royal family! Let’s hope things continue to stay chill for the couple and the new family life they’re building.
