Just a few days ago, news broke that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly moving out of Kensington Palace and into Frogmore cottage. Now, we’re learning more about why and it seems like this change can’t come sooner for Harry.

According to a source who spoke to People, the Duke of Sussex is impatient about moving out. “Harry feels very imprisoned at Kensington Palace,” royal biographer Ingrid Seward, author of My Husband and I, revealed to the outlet. “He can’t wait to get out.” It’s normal to want to spread your wings and leave the nest, even for a royal. Now that the duke is married and has a baby with Meghan on the way, it doesn’t come as a surprise that he wants more privacy.

According to The Sun, Kensington Palace released the following statement: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival of their first child. The couple have lived at Nottingham Cottage since their engagement last year. Windsor is a very special place for Their Royal Hignesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate. The Duke and Duchess’s office will continue to be based at Kensington Palace.”

However, despite the statement, there is still speculation that Prince William and Harry will split their courts soon. While there’s no clear indication of what the main reason for wanting to leave Kensington Palace is, insiders told People that it has to do more with the “natural evolution of the brothers’ dynamic,” rather than any rumors of them not getting along.

Besides, Frogmore cottage seems like a perfect fit for the expected parents. The soon-to-be family of three will have more space — their new home reportedly has 10 bedrooms and a nursery included. Uh, no wonder he can’t wait to move out!
