Sean Lowe Ends His ‘Twitter Hiatus’ to Live-Tweet His ‘Bachelor’ Season Reair and It’s Everything

He’s baaack! Sean Lowe ended his “Twitter hiatus” to live-tweet the reair of The Bachelor season 17 on Monday, June 8. The former leading man decided to “roast [himself]” and poked a little fun at his wife, Catherine Giudici, in the process.

The Dallas native’s journey to find love kicked off The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever series on ABC and reminded fans it *truly* was one of the best in the franchise.

Of course, the For the Right Reasons author, 36, has been married to Catherine, 34, since 2014, so there wasn’t a ton of room for surprises, but it was adorable to watch the longtime couple find each other. Chris Harrison unfolded Sean and Catherine’s love story while giving updates on top contestants like runner-up Lindsay Yenter and AshLee Frazier

That’s not to say the Bachelor Nation pair didn’t sit through a few awkward moments while rewatching their season, which was condensed down into a three-hour episode. A few cringeworthy moments included the real estate guru breaking the record for the world’s longest onscreen kiss with Lesley Murphy — who went on to be BFFs with Catherine — and all the drama that came with Tierra LiCausi.

However, it was obvious the former Dancing With the Stars contestant had his sights set on the LoweCo. founder. “There have been so many unexpected, wonderful moments with you. I knew from the very beginning, you were someone I wanted to be around, I just had no idea that my feelings were going to turn into what they turned into,” Sean told Catherine during their final rose ceremony together. “You never cease to amaze me.”

The Seattle native previously opened up about her experience on the reality dating show and what it was like being one of the few persons of color in the contestant roster

“When I was originally cast, I was very flattered but somewhat grounded by the fact that I would be one of the faces that represented people of color. I knew that one of the reasons I was probably chosen was because I was Filipino,” she explained in a lengthy Instagram post. “I counted myself out to be his fiancée because of what I assumed Sean liked.”

She noted Sean started “noticing [her] for who [she] really was,” which made her feel “more present” in the process. The graphic designer gushed the experience was “one of the best things” that ever happened to her. “Don’t count yourself out. You are destined to do bigger things than just check a box,” she added.

Sean and Catherine have come a long way from their reality TV days, but that doesn’t mean they can’t laugh at themselves. Keep scrolling to read Sean’s tweets about his season!
